I have written 19 books about my adventures, personal transformation and spiritual growth with these women, the 44 women of the Sisterhood of the Shields of whom I am, today, a member. Through my work these books and my center for shamanic studies, which draws people from all over the globe -- these women have chosen to bring their ancient wisdom into todays world in order that we may all work together to heal our planet and our own lives and restore harmony and joy to the world in which we live. As my teachers have always said, you cannot heal the world unless you first heal yourself.... When you are centered in this way, you become an inspiration and beacon of light to the world around you.
