Yet, in the wake of the industry reopening, Michelle seized the influx of opportunities for independent work and in 2024, officiated her services by branding and launching her own company MICE Management. This venture embodies her entrepreneurial spirit, love for networking and professional acumen, but also her unwavering determination to deliver a professional, structured and client-focused service. Michelle started her (more than) two decade-long career in the MICE industry fresh out of college, where she graduated top of her class in Public Relations studies. Meet Michelle As an account manager at an incentive house (Africadabara & World of Incentives) she had the opportunity to travel all over the world. Michelle has worked with prestigious local and international clients, Destination Management Company’s (DMC’s) – The Inside Edge, Uwin Iwin, Ovation DMC, Wedgewood, Tour D’Afrique for Mining Indaba and The DMCSA), Professional Conference Organiser’s (PCO’s) – Turners Conferences, Paragon Africa & SBS Conferences & Exhibitions – and Associations (too many to mention!).
