Launched by designer Marcia Patmos in 2011, M.PATMOS is a Ready-to-Wear label based in New York City. Using architectural silhouettes and a sophisticated palette, M.PATMOS strikes the perfect balance between luxury and craftsmanship, function and comfort, versatility and elegance. Prior to launching M.PATMOS, Marcia Patmos was co-founder of cult-favorite cashmere brand Lutz & Patmos. With M.PATMOS, she has expanded beyond cashmere into a full collection, bringing her knowledge of woven and knitwear techniques, a focus on fine fabrics and the importance of everyday wearability to the forefront. The M.PATMOS woman is drawn to timeless pieces with modern, unexpected details. Playing with both neutrals and graphic color palettes, unique textures and expert tailoring, M.PATMOS suits her artistic yet refined sensibility. A portion of each M.PATMOS collection is proudly made in the USA. In addition, sustainable and eco-friendly practices are used whenever possible in the manufacturing and sourcing processes. In 2011 M.PATMOS was awarded the prestigious Ecco Domani Fashion Fund Award. In 2012, M.PATMOS received acknowledgement for environmentally friendly design practices by CFDA/Lexus Eco-Fashion Challenge, and was named one of the “top 50 most innovative fashion companies in the world” by Fast Company magazine. In March 2015, M.PATMOS won the 2015 International Woolmark Prize.
