Mac’s on Boston was established in September of 2012 and is located in the historic district of Downtown Covington, LA. The goal of Mac’s on Boston Street is to provide excellent food and excellent service at a reasonable price. This is a family owned and operated business that prides itself on having at least one family member in the building at all times. The owners and staff at Mac’s on Boston Street really pride themselves on the fact that we are different from other restaurants, because we listen to your needs and create your special events based on those needs and desires. We will meet with you individually and create a menu that is unique to your event. We don’t just want your business, but want you to be happy that you booked your event at Mac’s on Boston Street. Michael (a.k.a MAC) is not only an owner of the restaurant, but is also the head chef. We have participated in A Taste of Covington for the past four years, but we also have wine dinners regularly for our customers. This chef is extremely creative with his menu, Michael has scheduled and prepared multiple gourmet meals offsite, he cooks to order and serves with the help of our kitchen staff. As the owners – one of the things that we are the most proud of, we have regular customers that come in and order pretty much the same thing always (their favorite), and they don’t know which member of the kitchen staff has prepared their food - because Michael (MAC) sets standards on not only food preparation but the plating of each dish. Jack has taken control of the bar – and can make some awesome drinks. The MAC 75 is Moscato d’ asti, Lasserre (honey infused cognac), Cointreau and champagne with a squeeze of lemon. Yummy can’t even describe this tasty cocktail. Our wine list is growing with customer input, so please come by and try some new wines, drinks and fabulous food.
