About Mackie's of Scotland
Mackie's of Scotland is one of the UK’s leading ice cream manufacturers and producer of award-winning chocolate bars. We are a 4th generation family business that has been farming at Westertown, Aberdeenshire, since 1912. Our 1600 acre farm is home to our 330 milking cows supplying fresh milk and cream, as well as our team of 80 experienced staff making our real dairy ice cream and farm made chocolate, right from creating our simply delicious ingredients to final packaging. Mackie’s products are sold to retail, convenience and foodservice customers within the UK, but also to outlets around the world. We are constantly working to reduce our impact on the environment. We produce over 4.5 times the amount of renewable energy we use, from our wind turbines, solar panels, biomass heating system and state of the art eco-refrigeration facility. Our mission is to become the greenest company in Britain.
