Established in 2000, Justin Maconochie hails from a long line of storied mentors, having worked with legends such as Balthazar Korab in Detroit and Hedrich Blessing in Chicago. Maconochie's mentorship led him to establish his own studio in the Detroit area where he shares his collaborative style with all his clients, showcasing his meticulous eye for detail, dynamic composition, and carefully crafted photographs. His passion for dramatic light and the pursuit of perfection has propelled him through over twenty years and more than a thousand photography assignments. Now, promoting from within, Trever Long has joined Justin behind the camera. Trever quickly proved that he was cut from the same cloth, showcasing a sharp eye for the finest details and well-studied compositions. As a fellow graduate of the College for Creative Studies, Long's natural talents and expertise were honed while working alongside Maconochie on hundreds of assignments. Since 2020, Trever has continued the collaborative style of working with architects and designers to capture their vision in a dynamic, yet carefully composed image. Together, their photographic style has garnered them several awards in architecture, lighting, and design for firms specializing in commercial architecture, landscape design, residential interiors, education, and more.
