About Macquarie Accounting Pty
Macquarie Accounting was established in July 1992 by John Langford and Diane Matthews. The partners both come from a Chartered Accounting background and they saw a need for a niche accounting firm which would be able to service the needs of small to medium businesses in Tasmania by giving a high degree of personal service. The firm was fortunate to be able to establish an excellent client base in its early years. This has enabled steady growth and the firm now services a broad range of clients within Tasmania, throughout mainland Australia and overseas. Industry specialisations including fishing, medical and allied health services, retailing, construction, legal practices and self managed superannuation funds. Along with the two partners the firm employs eight staff and utilises the services of three specialist accounting contractors. Over the years Macquarie Accounting has built a strong reputation through its commitment to client needs, professionalism, integrity and expertise. We continue to expand our practice to suit the changing requirements of our clients and to provide them with a growing range of services to manage their affairs. The firm has a commitment to continuing education and maintains an up to date knowledge of tax law and related cases.
