About Mada Center

Mada which was founded in 2010 as an initiative that aims at promoting digital inclusion and building a technology-based community that meets the needs of persons with disabilities (PWDs) and the elderly in Qatar and beyond. The center also works to implement international best practices in the field of assistive technology (AT) and digital accessibility. Mada aims to develop a sustainable model for the provision of AT and digital inclusion services for PWDs in the State of Qatar and internationally. Our Vision Enhancing ICT Accessibility in Qatar and beyond. Our Mission Unlock the potential of PWDs through enabling ICT Accessible capabilities and platforms. Mada aims to build capabilities of partners within the culture and education sectors to provide inclusive education and accessible culture. The Center works with web developers and digital content producers to create platforms that adhere to e-Accessibility rules. Mada also aims to raise awareness about the impact of Assistive Technology and ICT Accessibility on the lives of PWDs and regulary conducts relevant studies and research into the area.
