Having spent more than 40 years between them working within traditional law firm structures, Mark Archer and Joss Alcraft decided that they wanted to create something unique in the legal sector and founded Maddox Legal in January 2018. A law firm with a difference. Maddox Legal offers a no compromise solution to the legal needs of businesses. No compromise on quality; we are personable, precise, efficient, highly commercial and always available. We strike an excellent balance between getting the deal done and protecting our clients’ interests. Uniquely, our engagement letter includes a service level agreement which defines how responsive we will be in our dealings with all our clients. In every case a Partner will be responsible for fulfilling our obligations to you and every client will be treated as a priority client. No compromise on cost; costs budgets are agreed in advance with clients and generally we will work to an agreed fixed fee rather than to an hourly rate. There are no surprises. No compromise on experience; the Founders are entrepreneurs themselves. Not only do they own Maddox Legal but they have been businesses owners elsewhere and sit on the boards of diverse companies.
