MADI Apparel is rooted in a mission to Make a Difference in all areas of the business model. MADI is founded upon the principles of transparency, low waste, American manufacturing through vocational training and fair labor, sourcing eco-friendly fabrics and socially conscious impact through the donation of a basic need: underwear. We aim to come together as one people — to empower women, one garment at a time. For every item purchased, a pair of underwear is donated to women in requesting organizations all over the world such as domestic violence shelters, rape clinics or disaster relief organizations. We manufacture our products in the city we're headquartered - Kansas City, MO - in hopes of remaining socially and environmentally conscious by lowering our carbon footprint, adding and sustaining jobs in the growing garment industry of Kansas City, as well as overseeing/ensuring fair labor/wages of our manufacturing operations. We ethically source sustainable and long-lasting fabrics and materials like biodegradable viscose from bamboo, organic cotton, tencel and bio-based plastic-free vegan leather.
