OUR HERITAGE Originally known as Magaliesberg Citrus Co-operative Ltd when it was established as a pack house for fresh fruit in 1959, Magaliesberg Citrus Company (Pty) Ltd is now one of South Africa’s leading citrus processing plants. When fresh fruit prices were low in 1965, Magalies ventured into processing citrus fruits and began manufacturing fruit juice concentrates. Since that momentous year, Magalies has grown from strength to strength to become a leading manufacturer of superior quality fruit juice concentrates and related products in South Africa. OUR VISION It is our vision to be the preferred trademark and supplier of quality fruit juices and related products in South Africa. OUR MISSION We strive to: - Ensure the utilisation of high quality and cost effective raw materials - Provide high quality products through advanced technology, processes and systems - Establish our trademark through innovative marketing - Create customer satisfaction through delivering services and products that exceed customer expectations - Ensure the most advantageous benefits to our shareholders - Provide equal opportunities in an environment where the initiative and creativity of our employees assist in achieving the vision of the company QUALITY CONTROL Our high-quality fruit juice concentrates are produced in a technologically advanced factory in line with strict food safety standards. International and local certification bodies conduct annual audits of our processing facility to ensure that we meet global quality and food safety standards. DISTRIBUTION We distribute our products through 16 depot outlets located all over South Africa and neighbouring countries, Namibia, Botswana, Lesotho and Swaziland, to ensure that these products are readily available to customers near and far. We also export our products globally, and import additional raw products from various countries as and when needed, while supporting local producers.
