About Us – The Magisterfood Founder Story It all started with a vision. Over 40 years ago, Robert Scheffert decided to turn his passion for nutrition, sports, and health into action, following a successful career in food technology consulting. As a martial art specialist, he knew exactly what it took for performance-enhancing supplements to work—so he started blending his own protein shakes. This passion quickly evolved into his own brand, which rapidly gained popularity in gyms and sports clubs. But the market changed fast. Large American supplement manufacturers flooded the scene, pushing smaller brands aside. Robert recognized the shift early and took a forward-looking approach: Magisterfood transitioned from a brand provider to a reliable contract manufacturer and product developer for other companies. This strategic pivot laid the foundation for the company’s sustained success. When Robert retired, he handed the reins to his son, Falco Scheffert, who had grown up in the business. With a degree in food technology and years of experience in both operations and administration, Falco was ready to take on more responsibility. By chance, Falco met Christian Lux, an internationally experienced business consultant. Their vision aligned instantly, and in August 2024, they decided to take Magisterfood to the next level together. Since then, the company has embraced digitalization, modern processes, and new structures, all while staying true to the traditional values that have defined Magisterfood for decades. With over 40 years of expertise, Magisterfood now offers tailored solutions for dietary supplements, diet products, and animal feed supplements. We specialize in innovative, functional ingredients such as plant-based proteins, adaptogens, nootropics, and prebiotic fibers, designed for high performers.
