About Magnolia Pancake Haus
What started with a wild idea back in 1998 has turned into San Antonio's favorite spot for breakfast. In early 2000 we started looking for a small spot to open a "little place" where we could focus on (with all respect to Frank Sinatra) doing it our way. We found a great little spot that had everything we needed and off to the races we went. On September 19, 2000 The Magnolia Pancake Haus opened it's doors for business. A menu that reflected our numerous years in the business built around a recipe for "The World's Best" buttermilk pancakes and items as unique as you might find anywhere you travel became the new standard for breakfast in San Antonio. Over the years many folks have asked us what the secret is to those wonderful pancakes and breakfast we serve. We always tell folks that it's no secret really just use only the best, most wholesome, and unique products prepared exactly the same every time. Server them in a friendly and welcoming manner and keep the place spotless and you'll have the basis of success. Well to say the least , the "recipe" worked!! Word quickly spread about the little pancake "Haus" over on West Avenue. It’s now some ten years and many accolades later and we continued to hone our skills and work to ensure the consistency and quality that is the hallmark of The Magnolia Pancake Haus.
