About Magor Designs Limited
Magor Designs Limited is one of the largest and longest established names in precision engineering, tool making and engineering design in Wales. Founded in 1961, we provide a flexible yet specialist “turn-key” engineering design, manufacture and project management service including the provision of electrical and automation services. Based in customised modern facilities near Neath, on the edge of the Brecon Beacons National Park, we have a team of 39 employees, including 2 apprentices on our Award-winning programme. We have over 50 years pedigree and expertise in supporting leading international manufacturing partners – including FORD, JAGUAR LANDROVER, TENNECO WALKER, BRITISH AIRWAYS, BOSCH and many other prestigious engineering and manufacturing clients. Our strategic focus is to offer clients a one stop shop for design led manufacturing solutions. Our Vision is to become a 21st Century Engineering Services provider and as part of this strategic focus during 2013, we absorbed our long standing and well-known sister division – Nidum Precision Tooling. All design and manufacture now operate under Magor Designs with the traditional core business being the design and manufacture of the following competencies: - • Precision Jigs, Fixtures & Gauges • CNC precision machined parts / components • Work Holding & Conveyance • Electrical & Controls Integration • Specialist Robotic Weld Applications • Bespoke Applications (Special Purpose Machinery) Significant change has occurred during 2017 – 2018 - A major capital investment project catered for a 4,000 sq. ft mezzanine structure allowing the consolidation of operations under one roof.
