Towards the end of 2014, MSF released the award-winning German film WEST, which won the FIPRESCI-Prize at the Montreal World Film Festival. MSF has financed the indie romance JACKIE & RYAN directed by Ami Canaan Mann and starring Golden Globe® winner Katherine Heigl and Ben Barnes; the teen action comedy BARELY LETHAL (directed by Kyle Newman and produced by Brett Ratner) starring Academy Award® nominee Hailee Steinfeld, Jessica Alba, and Academy Award® nominee Samuel L. Jackson; and the dramatic biopic, LAMOTTA: THE BRONX BULL starring William Forsythe, Joe Mantegna, Paul Sorvino, Natasha Henstridge, and Penelope Ann Miller. All three films are slated for release in 2015.
