So at MainStreetInvestor.com, we've gathered some of the best money pros in the business, people who share a belief in the market but also a disappointment with Wall Street. We're working to teach Main Street investors how the market really works today – and to share the tools and techniques we believe are necessary to make money in this new era. We won't try to reform or outsmart Wall Street; individual investors simply don’t have the resources. Instead, we'll follow the Street to the best companies and the best bets, because when Wall Street says a stock should go or down, it will, at least for a while. We'll borrow the tricks of the trade that make Wall Street – and, increasingly, its partners in government – richer than the rest of it. And we won't kid ourselves. Everyday investors on Main Street can't really beat Wall Street with its armies of full-time analysts, banks of computers and boardroom friendships. But we don't need to beat Wall Street.
