Make-A-Wish® Arizona is proud to be the state where Make-A-Wish®, the international 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, was founded. Started in 1980 with one Arizona boy’s wish to be a police officer, our Chapter evolved into a dedicated community of volunteers, donors and Arizona families who have worked together to grant more than 6,500 wishes to date. We continue to be trailblazers, with a goal to grant more wishes in Arizona for Arizona children with critical illnesses each fiscal year.
