About Make-A-Wish Laurier
Make-A-Wish Laurier is a charitable club in partnership with the Make-A-Wish Foundation. We are built around the goal of fundraising through events for the Laurier students community, in order to raise funds that will be donated directly to the Foundation. Along with donations, Make-A-Wish Laurier allows students to come together as a community and sponsor a specific family/child that is within the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Our goal is to generate support for children with life-threatening illnesses, but also to make an impactful difference by granting the wish of an individual child and their family. We always welcome new members and encourage students to become part of a community that strives to give back. Our mission is to bring together the Laurier community to collectively work towards impacting children in need, one event and one wish at a time.
