About Make.Shift Art Space

Make.Shift is a 501(c)3 Nonprofit formed in 2008. Our mission is to engage the community by providing an all-ages space for art and music in Bellingham, Washington. The organization was started with the modest goal of being a support network for local bands. In October 2011, Make.Shift moved into our current space at 306 Flora. This move opened up the doors for more Make.Shift projects. Currently, we are a studio space for artists and musicians, we run substance-free all-ages concerts, monthly art walks in our gallery space, and are home to a community radio station, KZAX 94.9 fm.
