About Makemson & Company

We have been providing Independent Financial Advice since 2003. Makemsons advise private individuals & corporate clients throughout the UK. We were established in 2003 following the merger of two highly successful firms of Independent Financial Advisers and have continued to develop since then through organic growth. We have not only maintained but expanded our client base through the provision of sound financial advice and quality service levels. We firmly believe that the use of advanced technology is essential in easing the burden of administration and this has been valuable to the employee benefit schemes of our numerous corporate clients. This has enabled our advisers to free up time and provide individual advice to both past and present scheme members. We are managed by Philip Makemson who has over 25 years of experience in Financial Services. We intend to maintain our independence and continue to offer advice in numerous areas including; Inheritance Tax Planning Retirement Planning Savings & Investments Mortgages Protection By focusing on changes in legislation, we are always well placed to keep our clients up to date and enable them to take advantage of any benefits that may arise. For example, we are currently advising clients of changes that are arising in the area of Pension Tax Simplification. These changes can either be advised on an individual basis or through our regular newsletter.
