About Making Friends Social Center

Making Friends Social Center is one of the longest running evidence based social skills and behavior support programs now available in New Jersey. Formally The Wanna Play Program, Making Friends provides social skills training for children from 3-18 that target interpersonal development and appropriate behavior. Making Friends Social Center was developed as the result of Ruth Herron Ross' years of experience in autism intervention programs as a therapist and special educator. The Wanna Play Program curriculum was published in 2007 and it's revision Making Friends: A Social Skills Program for Inclusive Settings (Corwin 2010).
