Finest streetwear. From Geneva with love. Maladroit. is the story of two young boys from Geneva who, during a quiet evening full of desire, decide to give a new turn to their lives. Maladroit. is also three syllables that click: ma‑la‑droit. The importance of the syllables that we learnt in our youth affects people indirectly today: indeed the small child taking his first steps is Maladroit. when he bumps into the furniture in the house or the young person aiming at a target and not succeeding because of clumsiness. Since the dawn of time, everyone has passed through this word: scholars, craftsmen, artists, who before achieving a masterpiece were filled with clumsiness. However, the word Maladroit. cannot be a sanction, it is often crucial in order to achieve a goal. To put oneself at stake in a project is to take the risk of being clumsy, to experiment. Trying in order to succeed. Maladroit. is a misnomer, but it is not bad to be Maladroit., on the contrary, it is an indication of progress, an invitation to continue learning until success is achieved. The art of going towards the unknown and knowing how to take the risk of being Maladroit. before reaching a certain security in the goal that one has set, is the air of success through clumsiness. Maladroit. by nature, the brothers wanted to prove to people that being clumsy is not shameful and no longer a negative aspect. In conclusion, being clumsy is part of life, part of learning, it’s not a big deal, as long as we get past it and persevere to achieve the goals that drive us.
