Mammagard™orthotic devices are scientifically proven to repeatedly and reliably reduce breast loading and displacement improving patient comfort. If you suffer from sore breasts when laying on your front, MammaGard™ can help. If you have breast implants or reconstructed breasts, MammaGard™ devices are very helpful in protecting your breasts from pain and loading. Designed for women with breast implants, reconstructed breasts or abnormal variations of breast structure such as fibrous or cystic changes. MammaGard™ Orthotic devices address discomfort and anxiety when undergoing prone treatment in this patient group. The device can be utilized in all women who report discomfort when lying prone Reconstructed and augmented breast structures do not move as natural breast structures do. Individuals with altered anatomical structures or painful natural breast structures need to be specifically considered and managed. The high incidence of complication in patients with altered breast structures must be considered by all clinicians in the post-operative and ongoing management for improved outcomes. Patients utilize the device in clinical examination and treatment environments and also in activities of daily living. Available in a ‘Clinician Pack’ of 5 devices, a ‘Complete Clinical Kit’ of 16 or as 16 individual packs to accommodate variation in breast size, body weight and personal preference.
