About Mamuśka! Southbank Waterloo
Mamuska Restaurants Limited owns casual dining concept restaurant Mamuśka! Polish Kitchen and Bar, launched at Elephant & Castle, London SE1 in 2010. We specialise in providing authentic Polish cuisine cooked from scratch and delivering it in a fun and casual way to the budget-friendly and trendier end of the mass market. Our casual friendly service , fantastic beer, wine and vodka selection and a lively dining room make this concept truly unique in the UK market and great for large groups and families. We are famous for our pierogi dumplings (Poland's most popular dumpling) which are made daily in our display kitchen at the front entrance. Most main course full meals are priced well under £10 and the alcohol is budget-priced as well, making the experience accessible to almost everyone. Our new 6000 square foot location in South Bank is cast from concrete, brick and steel and is uniquely authentic in it's approach to industrial fit-out. Ground floor seating for 120 is complemented by an outdoor terrace and an open air mezzanine bar 'The Platform' which can hold private receptions for up to 150 people. Mamuska Restaurants Limited is a privately owned business now actively seeking investors who recognise the potential of the brand and are ready to expand across the UK, into Europe and eventually into the lucrative American market with it's deep Polish traditions. The business model has a higher break-even due to the minimum labour requirements in the kitchen where food is cooked from scratch and sold comparatively cheaply, but with large batch cooking and very low COGS, profitability soars when space and traffic flows result in strong revenues.
