Manar is a student-led initiative that supports first-year computing students by making subjects more approachable, accessible, and engaging. Built by first-years, for first-years, we bridge the gap in computing education through structured content, peer-led learning, and community support. We simplify challenging topics across seven core courses, including Programming, Linear Algebra, Physics, and Statistics through video explanations, summaries, and quizzes. In just a few months, we’ve produced 90+ educational videos, reaching 2,000+ students with the help of 60+ contributors and 35+ core members. At Manar, we believe in the power of students uplifting each other, ensuring a smoother transition into computing education.
