About Manchester Macroeconomic Forum (Formerly MIF)
Manchester Macroeconomic Forum was originally MIF, a non-profit student-led investment fund. We had two primary teams: analysts team and the macro team. We reported macro trends and industry-specific updates through the macro team, which allowed the analyst team to make appropriate revisions to their stock reviews. Now, MIF is Manchester Macroeconomic Forum, focusing on developing a broader range of global economic research, while developing analysts’ research capabilities and commercial awareness. We aim to set up three key divisions through which we will launch video form, report form and newsletter form content: Global Macroeconomics focusing on global monetary and fiscal policy, economic indicators etc. , Capital Markets focusing on financial markets, corporate governance and news, mergers and acquisitions, earnings and industry and company trends. This division focuses on evaluating equities as well. Commodities and Derivatives: Focusing on the derivatives market for underlying assets such as natural resources, soft and hard commodities, we focus research on the state of the industries for these materials and track changes through video and newsletter formats. If you wish to sponsor us and be a part of our growth please get in contact with us!
