I. CREATION " MANDELA CLINIC " is an emanation of the asbl MWANGAZA created on September 10th, 2003. Livened by the concern of weel-being of populations of Kinshasa’s outskirts , young healthcare professionals are together going to put their know-how to guarantee a better geographical, financial and cultural accessibility to quality health care for their inhabitants by beginning with Kinsuka and then Kisenso , two of the poorest districts of the third megalopolis of Africa . II. VISION *Ensure the curative and preventive care *Form and inform the population about the sanitary problems *Make a commitment against malaria, tuberculosis and AIDS *Fight against false drugs *Promote the environmental protection *Help in the appropriation of the fight against the sexual violence III. ORGANIZATION At Mandela Clinic, there is a certain idea of duty … The staff consists of: 3 doctors, 1 dental surgeon , 6 nurses and 2 laboratory . Part-time, there is a back-up team which can be mobilized for emergencies and according to the activities; it constituted of: 1 doctors, 2 nurses, 1 nutritionist, 1 physiotherapist and 1 pharmacist assistant. Within it, MANDELA CLINIC includes: a laboratory, a pharmacy, an infirmary, a surgical theater and delivery room, sanitary installations, a mini-library for the in-service training, a doctor’s office and 3 rooms of hospitalization. IV. PROJECTIONS In the medium term, Mandela Clinic intends to : Acquire the complete equipment for the bacteriological and bio-immunological analyses, Equip his operating room of the standard equipment of the WHO for a rural hospital as well as the material for the Anesthesia Resuscitation, Rent (with option to buy) a portable echograph, Open a chamber of listening for the sexual violence and a center of resources against Std / AIDS for the young people
