About Manér

The idea of MANÉR was developed through our critical view of where the industry is heading today in terms of "fast fashion" and "mass production", and we realized that we wanted to contribute to a change. This means that we want to be able to ensure good working conditions behind the production and also increase awareness of what sustainability really means and what consequences it can have for, among others, the people behind the production. Our contribution to a more sustainable alternative has then since we started evolved and where we always strive to try to create timeless garments, small-scale production, produced in a local environment. Our production is therefore high in the sustainability aspect that comes with the traditional tailor-made craftsmanship, together with hand-picked quality fabrics from weavers in Europe with long experience of production that meets ethically good working conditions. Sustainability Our filosofi is that clothes should be produced in limited numbers to reduce the mass production that the industry has brought us to today, and that the industry can ensure that the people behind the production really achieve good working conditions. We therefore do our best to produce in the most sustainable way as possible without keeping stock, and we love to try to maintain this in all aspects of production and at the same time ensure good working conditions for our employees / colleagues. This has contributed to that we therefore only produce our products when the order is placed "made to order". All products is made by hand in our factory in Malmö - Sweden and the production and delivery time is set up to three weeks after the order is placed. We believe that handcrafted production made by tailors is something beautiful and something that takes time, so that we can ensure that the feeling of good quality is evident to all our customers (read more - "production & order" in the side menu).
