About Manly United Football Club
The Manly United Football Club provides a pathway for the grassroots footballers, coaches and administrators both male and female to pursue their dream of becoming an elite footballer. It strives to provide an avenue to compete at the highest level in the state of New South Wales in the best atmosphere and facilities football can offer. Our Mission Statement: ‘To promote and govern elite football through maintaining stable structures for the game that enables its successful development for the benefit of Elite Football on Sydney’s Northern Beaches.’ This overall Mission Statement is intended to set out the style of administration the MUFC aspires to which will allow each of the three areas of responsibility outlined below to flourish according to its own goals and needs. Elite Game: ‘To be the Countries leader through excellence in every aspect of the elite game’. Community Game: ‘To promote and develop the game within the community so as to encourage optimum participation and enjoyment at every level’. Business Activities: ‘To be commercially and financially the strongest Club in the Country and to provide the investment resource necessary to achieve our aspirations for the whole of the game’. The Club believes that each remains appropriate for its Strategic Plan. Combining the four separate elements, a comprehensive Mission Statement for the MUFC covers all its activities and responsibilities.
