Manufacturing Executives in Transition (MEIT) is a forum for executives and senior leaders in manufacturing who are transitioning in their careers to find help and support in landing their next opportunity. The participants share their knowledge and experience with each other, which leads to insights and ideas for everyone. The vision of MEIT is to instill hope and confidence in people who are in career transition to effectively develop and execute their job search plans. MEIT meets once each month on the 3rd Tuesday - 2 hours in duration - Location: Hopkins Pavilion, 11000 Excelsior Blvd, Hopkins, MN 55343 - Start time 9:00am (Room available at 8:30am and until 11:30am) - Cost: $10/meeting (covers cost of renting the Pavilion) - Time allowed for networking before and after meeting Following introductions of the participants (1-3 minutes) the balance of the meeting are open discussions on topics provided by the participants and facilitators. Topics can cover the job search from the very beginning of the process through to the negotiation of a job offer. The collective wisdom of the group is amazing as participants share their knowledge and experience with each other. New ideas and strategies are commonly generated as a result.
