On this here Maplopo company page, we'll share learning and pedagogical insights from a variety of industries to help you learn more and share more. We live for learning, so if that rings true with you as well, you'll enjoy what what's on deck. If our name is new to you, you might be wondering what it is we actually do... Well: Maplopo partners with associations, employers, and educators to offer private, advanced online Japanese language cohorts for those in their community serious about their Japanese. We also help individual Japanese language learners on a mission to best yesterday's knowledge-gain, and translate some pretty incredible Japanese storytellers into English. Our ten-week, invitation-only, private cohort experience is designed for busy professionals with a need and desire to improve their Japanese language skills. Learners come to us because they need to get better at writing, better at reading..., better at getting better with their Japanese. There are four ways to join us; each requires an application and an interview. 1. Have a Maplopo alumn nominate you. 2. Apply to the private cohort experience offered through one of our partner organizations around the globe. Partners include associations, employers, institutions of higher education, and independent teaching professionals. (If you are a JET or JET alumni you get special treatment. Please say hello.) 3. Apply to our annual Spring public cohort. The enrollment period for this cohort opens each March and begins in April. Our pubic cohort is offered only in conjunction with a select group of independent Japan-focused professionals whose businesses closely align with our own. 4. Be nominated by an independent Japanese tutor or teacher certified to teach the curriculum.
