About MapLov

MapLov / LovMap, a system prototype from some heavy R&D, is an integrated map based full multimedia hosting platform. It enables anyone, via any computing device, including mobile, to create Web site(s) easily on map with full multimedia upload facilities, making map/location based web/mobile publishing and access intuitive and straightforward. It can be used to build various specific and dedicated map/location based augmented realities services or applications, such as international property sales, international business coverage, sight seeing spot collections, personal travel logs, nature/animal watch/activity related clubs, social networking, as well as mobile location based services, augmented reality services etc. (Google's map service is generic, and for business adverts only. It provides an entry to the business's own web site.) The GMap based technology is still advancing. Google has been regularly updating GMAP APIs which also provides Google Earth and Flash integration capabilities. It also provides APIs for browser based mobile application integrations (e.g. MAPKIT for iPhone, MAPVIEW for android as well as GMap JS API 3 and STATIC MAP API for other mobile platform). How to achieve the best user experience for a map/location based application across all computing device domains is only limited by our imagination.
