About Maquinas Iberica

Maquinas was established in 1941, our company has always been related to industrial automation and engineering services. We started focussing our business activity in the stage engineering area about 25 years ago, applying to this market our long and solid technical and engineering background. Our first years in this field were focussed in Portugal, as the only manufacturer in the country we soon became market leaders and main supplier of the majority of the existing and new venues. This achievement was very important to consolidate our products and reach a high quality and technical international standard. In 2001 we had our first appearance on a international exhibition (Showtech Berlin) and soon after, our first export project to South Korea. From then on Maquinas foreign references have brought us to a level, both commercially and technically, that is only known to the very few worldwide active stage engineering credible manufacturers. Nowadays our company is a well known international brand offering, through our established worldwide partner and distribution network, standard or tailored mechanical automated movement solutions from concept to completion for theatres, opera houses, multipurpose halls, auditoriums, studios and other venues within the theatre, television and touring entertaining industries.
