About Mara Botanical
Situated in the beautiful seaside village of Kuaotunu, surrounded by native bush our company produces natural herbal hair products based on Kombucha. We are strongly of the opinion that cosmetic products should be safe enough to eat as well as being completely harmless to the environment. A keen interest in herbs and plants and knowledge in hand making products from raw materials, teamed with a passion for brewing Kombucha is the perfect combination for developing products that are completely plant based yet still highly efficient. Our shampoo is not just very effective in doing a fabulous job on the hair, it is also extremely mild so it doesn't even sting in the eyes and especially people with a sensitive scalp have reported very encouraging improvements of their condition. Currently we have 3 hair products in our range: the original shampoo for normal or strong hair, a shampoo for very fine hair and a conditioner for long, dry or damaged hair.
