Marc Evans is a producer and principal of Marc Evans Productions. In addition to various projects in development, Marc is currently in post-production on “THE OLD GUARD 2” starring Charlize Theron for Netflix. In 2023, Evans produced the Netflix action-thriller “THE MOTHER” starring Jennifer Lopez. He has previously produced “THE OLD GUARD” starring Charlize Theron and KiKi Layne and “LIKE A BOSS” starring Tiffany Haddish, Rose Byrne, and Salma Hayek. In 2018, he produced “INSTANT FAMILY” starring Mark Wahlberg and Rose Byrne. Prior to 2018, Marc Evans was the President of the Motion Picture Group at Paramount where he was responsible for the studio’s film operations from development to release. In addition to managing the Creative/Development group, he also oversaw Animation, Casting, Business Affairs, and Physical Production, including Film & Development Finance, Post Production, and Music. At Paramount, Evans supervised many of the studio’s most critically and commercially successful films and worked repeatedly with the film industry’s top filmmakers. Under his leadership, Paramount released such films as “A QUIET PLACE,” “ANNIHILATION,” “FENCES,” “ARRIVAL,” “THE BIG SHORT”, “10 CLOVERFIELD LANE”, “INTERSTELLAR,” “SELMA,” “NOAH,” “THE WOLF OF WALL STREET,” “NEBRASKA,” “WORLD WAR Z,” and “THE CURIOUS CASE OF BENJAMIN BUTTON,” and “ZODIAC.” Franchises Evans shepherded include the series “MISSION IMPOSSIBLE,” “JACK REACHER,” “TRANSFORMERS,” “STAR TREK”, “TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES,” and “G.I. JOE,” “PARANORMAL ACTIVITY,” and “THE SPONGEBOB MOVIE.”
