About Marginalia Rare Books
Marginalia Rare Books is a women-owned bookshop dedicated to locating, preserving, and placing rare books and manuscripts that document the lives, experiences, and contributions of traditionally marginalized peoples. Specializing in antiquarian materials up to the nineteenth century, we collaborate with a largely institutional clientele to ensure their access to resources that support ongoing teaching and research. At Marginalia it is our mission that scholars, students, and the public have increased opportunities to see these histories valued, taught, studied, and celebrated. We invite curators and collectors with an interest in these fields to reach out with want lists or inquiries. We’re always excited to learn how we can assist in growing these areas of your library.
