About Marhaba Information Guide
First published in 1994, Marhaba Information Guide has grown from a 16-page booklet into a 450-plus-page guidebook offering visitors and residents a vast array of useful information, with sections including living in Qatar, education and sports, plus articles and special features covering items of local interest. Marhaba also contains detailed maps of the country, including of Doha, Al Wakra, Al Khor, and others. Updated and published three times a year, Marhaba Information Guide is widely distributed in Qatar by hotels, recreation clubs, and key corporates such as Qatar Petroleum, RasGas, Qatar Petrochemical Company, Qatar Fertiliser Company, Qatar Airways and Qatar Olympic Committee. The user-friendly guide is supplied to Qatari embassies worldwide, and is sold in bookshops, supermarkets and newsstands throughout the country. In 2006, Marhaba was the publisher of both the official 15th Asian Games Doha 2006 Host City Guide and 15th Asian Games Doha 2006 Dining Guide. In 2014 Marhaba’s website received the coveted ICT Business Award from ictQatar. Ever improving, the website has comprehensive news and features, cinema listings, an events calendar and much more!
