About Marine Kinetic Energy
Marine Kinetic Energy designs land and sea-based Power Plants, Mobile Power Systems that can be deployed in vehicles, ships, vessels, rail systems, buildings, factories, hospitals, used in the Military, DOD, DOE, and FEMA. Marine Kinetic Energy’s Power Plants uses pressurized air, along with gravity, to move ocean water through tubes into a patented Sphere Enclosure Vehicle (SEV), resulting in extreme PSI that propels a turbine generator, generating continual electricity for a nearby power storage or distribution center. Some of the benefits of deploying the Power Plants are no CO2 emissions, perpetual motion, and the Power Plant is aesthetically pleasing! Sustainable, safe, and with low visual impact on the local environment - Utilizing water as its primary source of power generation, and with a build that takes place off-site and is dropped or field deployed in its local environment, these systems present only a small impact on the local systems and do not require major environmental disruption. Shallow and deep-water systems – Power requirements vary, and so do the environments in which they are needed. Marine Kinetic Energy’s systems have been designed with this in mind. Deepwater systems take advantage of the enormous pressures of ocean waters rather than relying on current or wave motion. This unique method of capturing the sheer weight of water and converting it to energy is unique, safe, and very powerful. Shallow water systems require only a small pond or lake, and all take advantage of highly efficient power transfer. Tactical power – Developing a highly efficient 15MW or more mobile power generation system that is scalable to power small towns or remote installations, and a larger power generator system of 100MW or more which can be deployed on a ship, trailer, a truck, or even on a plane where local water sources can be used to fill the tanks.
