MIS IS A SUBSIDIARY OF LAMPRELL PLC (WWW.LAMPRELL.COM) On July 13, 2011, the MIS Group (Maritime Industrial Services), a diversified engineering and contracting group providing a broad range of products and services to the energy sector, was acquired by Lamprell plc (www.lamprell.com), Lamprell is a leading provider of specialist engineering services to the international oil & gas and renewables industry, established in the UAE in the late 1970s. Lamprell has played a prominent role in the development of the offshore industry in the Arabian Gulf for over 30 years, and more recently providing specialised services to the onshore and offshore oil & gas industry. Lamprell’s three primary facilities are in Port Khalid, (Sharjah), the Hamriyah Free Zone (Sharjah) and in the Jebeli Ali Free Zone, all in the United Arab Emirates. Lamprell has grown strongly over recent years, driven by buoyant conditions in the oil and gas industry and the increase in capacity with the opening of the Hamriyah facility in 2007. Lamprell is listed on the London Stock Exchange (LAM.L). The MIS Group business units which now fall under Lamprell include EPC, New Build, Refurb, Fabrication, Tech Services, Sunbelt Safety.
