Marketplace Austin is a master leasing concept and business incubator offering micro and small start-ups and opportunity to pursue their business model. One might equate it to an indoor "flea market" However, it is clean and organized and each vendor has a lease and operates within the guidelines of the facility. Aside from typical retail sales, we also have professional services such as accountants and a chiropractor. Our business model provides us the opportunity to utilize vacant big box stores and divide them into small spaces without the cost of dividing utilities. Having approximately 90 vendors also provides more walk-by traffic for vendors they would not normally see in a typical strip center. We have prepared an investor presentation and would explore the potential of opening numerous locations at one time. We currently have two locations and are working on a third. We are also exploring the possibility of purchasing similar operating businesses and restructuring them to our business model. Please contact me with any questions.
