MARKETSQUAREOFFICE is a young architectural practice working across architecture, landscape, and urban design. The office handles the development and supervision of National and European projects. The office constantly deals with a wide range of contemporary themes, without limitations. This approach reflects itself in the nature of its most recent projects. The new Early Childhood Center 06, located in the Apennines of Modena, is a timber structure of over 1.000 square meters which hosts 115 children aged 0 to 6 years old. The Trekker’s House along the Path of God, is a microscale architecture of less than 45 square meters immersed in a lush green area. Along with that, the urban regeneration of the town center, transforms a road intersection into a new vibrant public space, connecting urban fragments with a unified urban intervention. The restoration of the Historic Thermal Baths, located in the Apennines of Bologna, works on preservation of heritage and its promotion. The restoration of a former Lime Kiln Warehouse, gives to a small community a Mountain Youth House and a new Urban Park. The design process reflects an interplay of youthful creativity and solid experience, guided by a thoughtful exploration of context, navigating social dynamics and understanding the historical palimpsest. The office philosophy envisions design as an ongoing process of research, aiming to create solutions that are undeniably contemporary, both in their architectural expression and in responsiveness to needs, context, and circumstances. Team members identify themselves as ‘digital craftsmen’, blending the tactile richness of printed drawings, wood models, and traditional tools with the precision and efficiency of modern technology.
