About Marlborough Primary Health
Kimi Hauora Wairau, the Marlborough Primary Health Organisation (KHW MPHO) was established in January 2004 to deliver the Government’s Primary Health Care Strategy. Our governance trustees are drawn from Primary Health Providers, Iwi and the wider community. As well as contracting General Practitioners to provide primary care, KHW MPHO’s is also charged with improving the wider health outcomes for populations in Marlborough who are disproportionately represented in health and demographic deprivation data. Our focus is on undertaking the following developments to ensure we add value and support communities and health care providers to improve Marlborough health outcomes. Governance processes to draw diverse perspectives together to guide policy, strategy and monitor performance. Moving from clinical advice to clinical leadership and governance.
