Founded in 1989 as Amber Synthetics, Inc., the company's primary activity was custom manufacturing and sourcing services for the pharmaceutical industry. In 1992 Amber Synthetics was merged with a newly acquired activities in chemical distribution (Alemark Chemical) and R&D Consulting (Custom Synthesis & Development). Together Amber Synthetics, Alemark Chemicals and CS&D became Amsyn Incorporated, a uniquely integrated organization adapted to meet the full range of development, commercialization and distribution needs of the chemical industry. The primary corporate mission is to provide prompt and professional response to the needs of customers and suppliers. The fulfillment of this objective has resulted in steady growth each year in all operational areas.
