About Marquette Builders Exchange

Our mission is to make it easy for businesses to find upcoming construction projects in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. We have been providing timely and high quality job reporting for commercial, industrial, civil, and institutional construction projects since 1950. Members have 24/7 access to the online planroom, and receive the weekly newsletter with upcoming projects, bid dates, pre-bid meeting info, contact information, and scope of work. Members also receive timely email updates with addenda, bid date changes, and new projects available. More than 325 companies depend on the Marquette Builders Exchange's construction job reporting, making it one of the largest construction associations in Michigan. Members include general contractors, construction managers, subcontractors, suppliers, architectural and engineering firms, tech companies, manufacturers, labor unions, and many more! The MBE also awards annual scholarships to high school students pursuing higher education in the construction fields and apprenticeship scholarships to those in certified DOL programs. A school grant program helps fund building trades classrooms with tools, materials, and equipment, or pays for students to go on field trips to competitions or events. Other membership benefits include reduced rates on blueprint copies and scans, a company listing in the online member directory, targeted advertising opportunities, networking with others in the industry, use of private online planrooms, access to first aid certification classes, invitations to member events, and free notary service.
