We started Marry Me Movies in order to wake up each morning loving what we do. We expected to achieve that goal, and we did. What we didn’t expect is how quickly our unique, documentary-style wedding cinematography services would be in hot demand, to the point where we are now generally booked out well in advance. To be honest, it’s both a humbling experience and a continuous reminder that we made the right decision to follow our hearts. We never let our popularity go to our heads though. In fact, quite the opposite. We’re always trying to do better, be better, and exceed everyone’s expectations, including our own. Working as wedding videographers/cinematographers means we get to share in the biggest day of people’s lives, when their love is the strongest, the laughs are most frequent and the tears flow freely and genuinely. We feel honoured to use our skills to capture moments that would otherwise be forgotten: Grandma crying at the ceremony, dad saying ‘I’m proud of you’, and two soulmates laying eyes on each other for the first time at their wedding. Between us we have over 30 years of photography, videography, cinematography and editing experience. We’ve worked with mainstream channels and broadcasters such as channel 7 and 9; shot music videos featuring popular artists such as Ed Sheeran, had various work featured on SBS, Channel V, Foxtel and The Voice. We’ve also featured in publications such as Brides Magazine.
