Marsala Tekstil, 1940 yılından bu yana tekstil alanında uzmanlaşan bir ailenin üyesi olan Mehmet Çetin Özel tarafından 2015 yılında kuruldu. Tekstil mühendisi olan Mehmet Çetin Özel, 2015 yılına kadar aile şirketinin 15 milyon doları ihracat olmak üzere yılda toplam 25 milyon dolar ciro yapan uluslararası bir şirket haline gelmesine liderlik yaptı. 2015 yılında kurucusu ve ortağı olduğu aile şirketini aile üyelerine devrederek, Özlem Özel ve ekip arkadaşları ile birlikte, yakaladıkları başarıyı çok daha ileri götürebilmek, tüm dünyada tanınmış bir moda kumaş fabrikası olmak için MARSALA’yı kurdu. Marsala Textile was founded in 2015 by Mehmet Çetin Özel and Özlem Özel, a member of a family that is specialized in textile since 1940. Mehmet Çetin Özel, who is a textile engineer and a partner, led his family company to become an international company with an annual turnover of USD 25 million, of which’s export is USD 15 million. Çetin and Özlem Özel created Marsala Textile to be more successful by transferring the family company to other family members in 2015 Their aim was to become a well-known fabric brand all over the world.
