About Martial Arts Institute
The Martial Arts Institute teaches authentic Okinawan Goju Ryu Karate and is the US headquarters of the Kuniyoshi Kai (organization) as well as a member in good standing of the All Okinawan Karate-do Goju Ryu Renmei based in Okinawa City, Okinawa, Japan. The dojo is operated by Sensei Kevin Webb and his wife Hollie. They teach Karate as it has been handed down for generations by the originators of the art in Okinawa. While Sensei Webb has black belts in a variety of disciplines, that experience is used to deepen the understanding of Goju Ryu Karate so it can be taught in its most complete and pure form. The Martial Arts Institute is not a sport or tournament focused dojo, but rather is focused on developing the mind, body and spirit of their students.
