MAA owns and operates Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport and Martin State Airport. In 2018, Maryland Governor Larry Hogan announced that BWI Marshall Airport produces a total economic impact of $9.3 billion. Martin State Airport is an important transportation and economic development asset, located in Middle River, about 10 miles from downtown Baltimore. Martin State Airport serves and supports a broad variety of aviation services including corporate and private aviation activities, flight training, recreational, aviation maintenance, law enforcement, and military operations of the Maryland Air National Guard.
