I started this business to bring much more higher quality hair products to South Africa. I remember walking into Clicks and picking up the first hair product I saw (Not mentioning the brand), and it never did what it promised. It said High Hold and Matte Finish and that's what it wasn't. It was more of a Semi-Matte and Medium Hold. Another very big problem with this product was that it started to flake out of my hair. When I got introduced to the By Vilain hair product line while doing my own research I had to buy the By Vilain Gold Digger their best selling hair product. When I did try it for the first time, I found not only did it work, it felt so premium and high quality. On the jar it said Matte finish and High Hold and that's what it did. I was thereafter given the idea to start selling these products here as there would definitely be a high demand. When I had given it some thought I knew there were many men out there suffering with the low quality products that we have here in South Africa.
