About MasFuster

MasFuster, where a passion for art and woodworking come together to create solid wood furniture of timeless beauty. Xavier Mas, its founder, trained at the Faculty of Fine Arts in Barcelona, and his journey began in national and international contemporary art museums, such as MoMA and the Guggenheim. He started dedicating himself to carpentry in 1998, working from a small space in the center of Barcelona until he opened his first professional workshop in 2008. Since 2018, MasFuster has operated a 400m2 facility in the same city, dedicated to the design and creation of unique, high-end pieces, especially tables and bespoke solid wood furniture. At MasFuster, each piece is more than just furniture; it is a manifestation of our love and dedication to our craft. Our motto is "Honoring the trees," as Richard Powers says, "What you do with a tree should be as wonderful as what you cut down." For this reason, we personally oversee the entire process from tree to furniture, using only sustainable trees from European species. Our differentiating strength lies in the quality and care of the raw materials, the artistic vision of the founder, and his respect for traditional woodworking processes. This is why private clients and professional interior designers, both national and international, choose us as a reference company to create soulful furniture that enriches the spaces they inhabit. Our commitment to excellence was recognized in 2021 when Xavier Mas received the prestigious title of Master Cabinetmaker, awarded by the Generalitat of Catalonia.
